"Fellows means relationship. The Raleigh Fellows have built powerful relationships that, through Christ, have changed students and families lives."
–Curt Solomon, Director of Youth Ministries

My year as a fellow was one of the most intense and amazing years of my life. God used the time to teach me what it looks like to both lead and follow, to understand what community looks like, to push me to grow, and to mature my understanding of His word. Truly life changing and wonderful.

–Autumn Metzger, Fellow 2009

"Having the Fellows involved in various areas of the life of the church is
invaluable.  It brings an excitement and energy to the youth group where
they serve as models and examples of Christians who live out faith in a
'cool' way - which students seek to emulate. Having them participate in the weekly Young Adult Bible Study has brought a maturity and an increased commitment to our group which has encouraged other young adults as well. And simply having their presence in our church encourages the congregation and reminds us all that we need to continue to invest in the lives of future leaders. The Fellows program is a wonderful opportunity for everyone involved. It blesses and strengthens the church to have young men and women who take their faith seriously and are seeking to give of their lives in love and service to the Lord. It blesses the families that they live with to have role models for their children in the home. It blesses the work place internships to have young men and women with a good work ethic and a positive spirit.  And we always pray that it will bless the lives of these fellows also as people from Apostles pour into them and as they seek to integrate their faith into every area of their lives."

–Ford Jordan, assistant pastor Church of the Apostles

The fellows program is nothing I can describe in words. It is more of a heart and soul feeling. This program got me and God back to "us". I would recommend this to people who are looking to grow deeper in community, in the marketplace, within yourself, and ultimately, with Christ.
–Ginny Turlington, Fellow 2009

"Having Chelsea at our house is such a blessing. Her fun loving nature and sensitivity to our family's schedules have been appreciated very much. Her schedule keeps her busy most days, but when she's free she becomes a "big sister" to our three daughters whom adore her. She has truly become part of our family and we feel blessed that she has shared a year of her life with us."

–Jared Miedema, Host Family for a Raleigh Fellow

The fellows program was a time of drawing close to God, seeking His guidance among friends. It really help me discern God's call for my life.

–Adam Brokaw, Fellow 2009

"For me, the Fellows Program was a pocket of grace in my life.  I was at a crossroads, and being able to invest in people and have that returned while pursuing where the Lord wanted me next, was amazing."

–Sarah Wunderle, Raleigh Fellow 2009

"The fellows program gave me the opportunity to spend a year learning from a christian family, a strong christian community, church leaders, and seminary professors. I was able to share this experience with Christians of my own age, going through the same experience. All of this was able to take place while still pursuing my professional goals at the same time."

–Will Curtis, Raleigh Fellow 2009

“I would totally recommend the Fellows program to anyone… hands down. It gives you a lot of latitude to ask significant questions, and a chance to be on the receiving end of a discipleship relationship.”

–Sink Kimmel, 2007 Fellow

“The Fellows is best described as an incubation period through which we can discover our gifts and particular calling, and which provides the necessary time and environment for growth in these areas.”

–Chris Montmeny, 2006 Fellow

“For me, the Fellows has been a perfect synergy of spriritual growth and study, discipleship, mentoring, accountability and support system. The time together has led to conversations and time spent with other members of the program. The Fellows Program is interested in developing a group of people who are committed to a deep, meaningful, personal walk with the Lord….”

–Will Ray, 2006 Fellow
